Cattai Country Home
A full renovation of a country home that has been in the same family for decades, reviving the love for long family weekends away from the city.
Keeping in step with the home's original features, careful thought went into the scope.
The existing CBUS automation was kept, and we installed new Clipsal Zen switches and additional lighting loads. Parts of the home with no CBUS were kept to a traditional 230V switching method.
The majority of the lighting and power was rewired, floor heating was installed in all wet areas, and a strong Wi-Fi network was installed inside and across the grounds via Starlink satellite.
The home was primarily heated by ceiling radiant heating mats before a ducted AC system was installed in this renovation. A full safety audit was carried out on the radiant heating system to check for matting damage and the risk of scorching.
